Design & i is a freelance graphic design and illustration studio based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

I’ve worked as a creative professional since 2004, collaborating with independent businesses, arts organisations, record labels, and larger companies across Ashbourne, Derby, and the Midlands. My work blends strong visual identity with creative originality — whether it’s developing a new brand, producing striking print materials, or crafting bespoke illustrations. I offer a personal, high-quality design service that’s ideal for small businesses, community organisations, and creative professionals. Over the years, I’ve designed brand identities for local businesses like X Runner, ATL, and Wilsons Pharmacy, and created communications for larger organisations including the NHS. I’ve produced album artwork for artists including LAU, The Little Unsaid, and Joan as Police Woman, and my work has appeared in the Best of British Illustration. I’ve also been a finalist in the RAR (Recommended Agency Register) Awards multiple times.
